Notice on 3rd High-end Forum of Iron Ore Development
The 3rd High-end Forum of Iron Ore Development, which is sponsored by China Metallurgical Industry Planning and Research Institute(MPI), will be held in Beijing on December 5th to 6th, 2014.
China’s first The Midium and Long Term Developing Plan of Iron Ore Industry(shortened as Iron Ore Plan) started in Beijing on March 18th , 2014. MPI undertakes the main formulation work of Iron Ore Plan. The theme of this forum is the far-reaching impact of Iron Ore Plan on iron ore market in future.
In 2014, the world economy has still been struggling under the cloud of European debt crisis and the economic growth of emerging markets slows. Chinese economy is on the way of transformation and now enters new normal. Under the situation, the global economy can recover in 2015? The demand of steel market can be better off? What is the right direction of steel industry’s transformation? The price of iron ore will decline further? These questions are cared deeply by the steel, mining as well as the related industries.
The forum is going to invite the leader of government sector to read the policy of raw material; invite the members of Iron Ore Plan formulation leader group to analyse and discuss a broad range of issues, such as the situation of industry development, the significant problems Iron Ore Plan needs to solve and the measures are going to be taken; invite the main participant of Iron Ore Plan formulation to thoroughly analyse the impact of Iron Ore Plan on the iron ore market in the future.
